Telkom users hit by data downtime

Telkom users have reported network problems that are causing slow or no Internet connectivity.

Downdetector has shown a spike in reports from Telkom customers since 10:00 on Wednesday.

The issues appear to be affecting data for both Telkom mobile and fixed-LTE users.

My Telkom LTE has been doing this for a Month now, at +/-0.3mbps Down.

You lucky, my ADSL has been ****ing out, in the evenings ... , and the LTE not much better. Telkom, you are going to have to do better, or of to MTN we go ...

Strange, Netflix and Dstv would stream with zero issues but randomly one would have intermittent issues loading a website or WhatsApp on a device connected to the same network. Otherwise no major complaints.
