A couple of questions.
Why does the country have different registration costs depending on the province in which you register the vehicle in? Surely it should be the same for the whole country?
What gets my goat (no I never owned one) is that I bought a second hand car in Sommerset west here in the Cape and was told I had to re register it as I lived in Cape town...So I went through all the associated costs including the buying of new license plates however...every Telkom van I see anywhere in the country is registered in the Eastern Cape! I realize that costs for registration are the cheapest in the EC and the business sense in the move but it strikes me as iniquitous. How can they get away with it and not us consumers?
On another note, is it just me or are all EC drivers (Telkom not included) really rubbish?
