Telkom & Vodacom not working together

With Telkom as my service provider, and Vodacom as my IPhone service provider. Incoming mails are fine.Try as I may, I can't send emails from my iPhone, I have used both smtp.vodacom.co.za and smtp.vodamail.co.za as my out-going mail server, but the error message keeps coming back that it was rejected by the mail server, because it does not allow relaying, I have tried turning the data on my iPhone back on, that didn't work, I've since switched it off, as I use Wi-Fi. What else may I do to try and send emails through from my IPhone. My Modem/router is the new Dlink from Telkom. All my Wi-Fi connections are fine, it's just the outgoing emails that I'm battling with. I honestly don't know what to try anymore.

You highlighted the problem right there. You connected by wifi but using vodacom outgoing mail servers. When on wifi you need to use telkom mail servers.
