It seems Afrihost uses Mtn, but you can only use LTE in one tower's range. Are you also throttled after data is over. Telkom seems to be able to move everywhere, eg when you go on holiday. Telkom direct tower full lte, but when there is no Telkom tower, you are force over to Vodacom.

Am I correct.

Afrihost has both MTN and Telkom, depends on your location which one they recommend to you.

MTN is locked to a tower yes, can't move it. Telkom you can.

They won't throttle you when your data is over because it is a capped plan so you won't have internet. Only "uncapped" plans are throttled after a fair usage limit.

AH(MTN LTE) will be happy to take your money for top ups tho at exorbitant rates per GB, and seeing as there are no large or uncapped packages you screwed if you are a large monthly data consumer.
