Telkom recently installed a new ADSL line into a clients premises, new installation, adding to a present account.
The beauty is that the area has always had problems with ISDN lines, and so I advised my client to go with the Telkom router, as they like to say that the problem exists because that is not a Telkom modem.
That was not the problem though.
Telkom decided to put a R2000.00 limit on the account. Line installed worked for one week, and then Telkom updated their invoicing. Modem+Installation+line Rental+ADSL rental>R2000.00
Clients line suspended immediately, client paid R5000.00 into Telkom, Telkom takes two days to turn system back on.
Has anyone got an explanation for me, I cannot work it out.
