Telkom Wifi 40 Gig

Hi Guys, this might be a stupid question but Telkom is running this special "Get 20 Gig Smartbroadband wireless + 20 Gig Night Surfer as well as a LTE router and Wi Fi repeater for just R439.00 per month", now my questions are as follows:
1. Do i need a land line?
2. I have a Sony phone using Vodacom, can i connect to this wifi using my wifi on my phone?

1.No, you do not need a landline. The LTE router they supply gives you your own personal wifi.

2. You will be able to connect to your wifi. When connecting to a wifi connection, it is not network dependent. In other words it does not matter what network you belong to.
