That is good for a 4Mbps line!

Same issue, struggling since feb. att is 63.5, 2mb line syncing at 256kb, telkom tech just keeps saying to far from the exchabge, nothing we can do till they upgrade. so i have cancelled my sevice and waiting for a Line of Sight from Bitco.
 
Capped as my experience of uncapped was slooow?
 
Whats the use of 4mbps and u cant watch a youtube video even without buffering since it runs less than 2mbps internationally

Have you looked at the actual lines around your house? Surely if they are corroded that could be it if there has been a sudden drop in speed.
As someone here said, your house didn't move, so hopefully it could be something just on your property that got a little bit fried. But they are right, if you are too far from the exchange then my condolences! There really doesn't seem to be much that you can do then.
But I don't agree with the LTE suggestion.
Too little data for us ADSL people.
