ok so with all the help i got from users in this forum, i decided on my choice of ISP,ADSL speed router etc.Called Telkom after 15 mintues the guy tells me my area doesnt support ADSL. inform the fool that my neighbour has ADSL.."OH!!!..." Ok so he'll fill out the form but they gonna tell me in 2 months that they can't install it- then its not his fault. Spend 20 minutes giving him my info.
Telkom calls back regarding my ADSL application- won't i please give them info needed for application! WTF! spend 15 mintues going through everything again. OH she says there is ADSL in my area but not my exchange! I must call back after the financial year end and see if money is allocated to upgrade my exchange.
Can someone please tell me how can an area in the heart of JHB (the financial capital of the continent) not have access to ADSL! Oh and by the way:
