Well today i was fedup with our DSL stability in our house the last week so i rang Afrihost and they todl me that my account is fine and we are not being throttled. So its not them. Then i looked on the router to see if something was out of place. Downstream is 2mb? Huh? WTF? that cant be right. Reset router says the same. WTF? Im paying for a 4mb line and its on 2mb?
Phoned telkom and a very lovely lady helped me out. She said that our line was downgraded to 2mb and we had a conversation about this and she said between her and the manager or whoever incharge will figure out why this was done and shell get back to me. So ill be waiting for the call, she said by tomorrow noon. But anyway im not angry whatsoever, and im gratefull for Chantelle at Telkom for your very nice and polite service you gave me. Oh yes and thanks for putting our line back to 4mb.
