So upon payinh my phone bill today a telkom sales guy asked me which isp am I with I said Openweb... 2mb gold uncapped.

He proceeded to say that telkom 2mb is a lot cheaper (like 189 or something) I'm quite sceptical though.

Never known telkom to be better that any isp.

Am I wrong?

Is it worth doing to move or is telkom internet **** ( throttling etc )

Telkom has been stuffed this whole year before that it was great. I'm getting dial up speeds on 10mb

I signed up for 2mb uncapped and now they put me on some 10gigs thing and it's such a nightmare to change to the one I ordered.

ATM yes, since the start of the year. Maybe they will resolve it, but who knows how soon. I only use my TI account now for downloads overnight, as one can't really do anything else with it.

I would not move to Telkom atm. Its a horrendous experience. And this coming from someone who use to be a big Telkom isp promoter
