Hi Just got the unlimitedhome package with telkom. When signing up I was offered a 24 month contract or month to month. Is there any difference besides being locked in for 2 years. Pricing?

You forfeit the free modem and free installation when going month-to-month.

If its fixed-line adsl then you're better off going 24 month contract. Free installation and modem, plus free modem swop-out if it gets damaged.

I wouldnt personally lock myself to any fixed line contract, prices and packages change so often.

I went with the month to month deal because of that very reason. I installed my modem and have alot of spares so the swop out wouldnt be much of a hussle tho.

I did them same, modems are reasonably price for basic models.
