For days I have been wondering why it is that dnsreport.com's server is kaput, and dnsstuff.com as well, so I emailed the admin for those domains, and it turns out the domains have not been down, but he says check if your IP/proxy is spam blocked/listed, so I tried SpamHaus.org...sadly SpamHaus.org's server gave me exactly the same weird server error - that's when I knew there was definitely something spam blocked/listed...BTW SpamHaus.org isn't throwing out that dumb message anymore - so obviously delisted there...

Telkomonopoly/SAIX's transparent proxy is still listed with a bunch of others - SpamCop.net...

The reason that you cannot use www.dnsstuff.com and www.dnsreport.com:

is that between your PC and those sites, sits the SAIX cache or transparent proxy, which is fine except that the IP addresses used for the SAIX cache, are continually listed as sources of spam in the anti-spam databases:

When visiting some sites, like dnsstuff.com and dnsreport.com, their server sees the IP address of the SAIX cache, and checks if it is listed as a source of "spam" or D/DoS attack, and often the SAIX Proxy IP is listed, so your visit to sites that check for possible DDoS attacks will be blocked...

Who is to blame? Answer: Telkomonopoly/SAIX for being lax, and not taking measures to prevent DDoS attacks - probably from customer PCs that need de-worming etc...

I hope that explains it sufficiently :).

I see, thankyou for showing me the error of my ways, I shall repent. No wait a minute, Telkom cache server / proxy ???? WTF My censorship statement stands as a cache server could be used as a device to restrict access to sites.
