Hey ppl,
2day I am complaning about telkoms email service!!
I got adsl for my work a couple of months ago. (prop start of march) and the email sucks!!

When I try recieve my mail it asks for my password! ALL THE TIME and when I type it in it says password incorrect!! and then I have to click on send/reciev again and then the mails only come through!!

Any1 else got this?
 
I highly doubt that this is Telkom's fault... It's microsoft outlook/outlook express.

Ensure that your email address account user and password is correct in the accounts section and ensure that you check he remember username and password box if it prompts you to remember the username/password.

I have had several customers with this issue recently. The only resolution I could find was to phone and get the password reset. I spent about 2 hours on hold for each call...then the phone monkey had to talk to the customer and verify that they wanted the password reset and then we had to wait 20 minutes before we could check it.

It would appear that Telkom randomly reset passwords for fun!

telkom is unreliable sometimes its not even funny.. my suggesstion is dnt use telkoms email service at all rather go with webafrica or somethng else if u wana use a local email service ...if not jus go woth gmail ;)
