Has anyone else experienced Telkom's online Exchange Checker being wrong? It says my exchange is enabled for DSL, but my order was turned down because my exchange isn't enabled!

Which is rather frustrating anyway, but even more so because I didn't think it was a problem because the checker said it was okay!

Is this a known problem with the exchange checker? Or is that more likely to be right, and I should just try ordering again?

Order again, tell them you know of at least 5 people that have ADSL near you and bam, their tune will change.

I also had problems with the checker being wrong. Took them a few months to get my adsl installed from when i first heard that I was "enabled". When I complained to someone at telkom, they told me its because they put what exchanges are being upgraded into their system, including ones in the future. The problem with mine was that it got delayed by some big problem, so according to the ordering system, the work had been scheduled to happen, so it must've happened.

Then again I've been told some very interesting "truths" by telkom, so who really knows ;)
