Telkoms false advertising

The ad in question also appeared in Time. It specifically mentions little Johnny (or whatever his name is) downloading "The Matrix". Is there _any_ legal way to do that?

There must be, otherwise Telkomonopoly would not tell us to get ADSL to make it possible. They are an honorable bunch who would never lie to us or instigate copyright violation.
 
Maybe Telkom should sponsor "Cosmo City" which they building WAY too close to my house. Maybe if they got involved, this place would only be finished after I turn 95.

I Need Help

I NEED HELP!

I brought my complaint of false advertising against Telkom and it has now become a war of words between between telkoms legal depatment and my fairly average engineering knowledge.

Please could i have some help from our more legally experienced members of the forum - or even just the general public who has been successful in lodging complaints and seeing action.

PLEASE pm me - i will take any assistance with this - i don't want to have to back down... telkom must not be allowed to back its customers into a legal corner!!! :mad:

It doesn't matter what he did with the bandwidth. VOIP, FTP, GAMING, whatever. Doesn't matter. Who the hell is Telkom to decide what people should and should not do with their bandwidth? There are all kinds of theories why they need to shape bandwidth, but at the end of the day they are charging too much for a crippled service. Period.
