What competitive market.

Telskam is the only company in the world that behaves like a cry-baby / drama queen / cocky teenager
 
Hendrik Matthyser, Telkom's executive of the Business Integration Service, says...

...Telkom's IT services division has...underachieved in higher-level business processing aspects, ... “It's not easy to join a very competitive market.”... “It would be an uphill battle in that environment.”

Matthyser says the company would be at risk in the IT services arena if the merger failed. He points out Telkom will be at risk as the ICT industry deregulates. He says it would be disadvantaged by joining a converged environment, while the industry moves ahead and offers new services.

Aaaah yet another case of touch yesterday with Telkodemonopolies: it's the reason why we still have ADSL and not uncapped ADSL2+ in SA.

Instead of actually getting a clue and realising that it has to be competitive, we the consumers & customers & tax payers must continue to foot the bill for Telkodemonopolies infinite incompetence and short-sightedness...:rolleyes:

If Telkodemonopolies cannot perform in a competitive market then so be it - get out of the fire & sell off under-performing divisions instead of expecting the endlessly extended monopoly status to continue.

I've had enough of Telkodemonopolies & I hope that the tribunal will see the light & tell Telkodemonopolies to go to hell without gobbling up BCX in the de facto monopolistic beast's endless useless efforts to compensate for its own incompetence & impotence.

If BCX needs a cash injection to get back on its feet, there are many more suitable partners both locally & internationally that could bail them out, just not Telkodemonopolies.
