I searched these forums but could not find anything exactly matching my situation.
I have DoBroadband 1 with TelkomSA and use the included email address for the business. However - for large parts of the month I have the business ADSL line connected on an IS ADSL account.
Now the problem - I am using smtp.telkomsa.net (the .dsl smtp refuses to accept when I am on IS) and have had to set smtp authentication on in order for mails to go through. However the mail setup is far from perfect. It sometimes refuses to accept mails at random times - causing Outlook to kick up the "system administrator" mail in the inbox. I am holding for TelkomSA support but it's been 30 minutes now and no-one has attended to me.
Does anyone have this setup and how do they manage to make the mail work? I need to keep my TelkomSA mail working even when on an IS ADSL account!
All help would be appreciated!
