Well http://www.telkomsa.net/ has FINALLY been updated for the first time in quite a long time. I notice that Telkom have change a few things. For example, "A new connection is only required once a day as the network is reset each day at 00:00", so it's not every 24 hours anymore, it's at midnight. Personally I think that totally sucks as every night at midnight my IRC would get disconnected :/ Lovely. I also noticed that all three TelkomSA offerings (2GB,3GB Shaped, 4GB Unshaped) all appear to only be capped at International. So contrary to what Telkom said about the end of local uncapped, they are now uncapping local on the 2GB and 4GB which previously were, once the cap was reached, totally discontinued for that month... well tomoro's the 1st of August, and we find out all the new Telkom rip offs... Let's see if we possibly receive a shock (over good prices possibly???...nah...)

looks down again to me - I have never seen a so-called technology company's website down this much. How even more pathetic considering they are our connection to the world...

Considering they're SA public Enema number one, it's no surprise every hacker this side of the Equator loves to have a go . . .

This is also new with regards to local bandwidth

http://www.telkom.co.za/athome/products/telkompoweredbydsl/index.html

"Although Telkom currently transports capped users' international access over a slower international link without affecting their local access, Telkom hold's the right to disconnect the usage entirely depending on network usage. Customers can subscribe to additional accounts or wait for the cap to be reset at the beginning of the following month.

This was not there when I joined 2 years ago
