waste of my life trying to phone these idiots to find out one simple answer. the question to which is, if one takes the Simple Plus bundle and signs life away into a 2 year contract will you be able to move house and have the idiots install it at the new house?

as for why Im asking this, blame the girlfriend. I hate telscum. and fibre isnt an option, and neither is radio wifi watwat

Simple Plus should be a month to month. Are you referring to the one that comes with a 20Gb account? I have that and i signed up as month to month, you specify that on application

With your thread title do you expect any Telkom person to assist you?

heh Mickey, after spending almost an hour on the phone and trolling their website looking for what I was looking for, about the only thing I could think is blue murder. I still think they are telscum, and they will remain telscum, and I dont give a fig what they think about that. they are worse than eskom, its like they are actively chasing prospective customers away

kianm, thats the one. specifically though it has the 3g dongle and data monthly for a year. and thats my worry re: 2 year contract vs month to month

I'd check that ADSL is available at the new house before worrying about the 24mth contract. AFAIK unless you got a lot "free" stuff, the penalty for cancelling is minimal.

I got the dongle and the 200Mb (drop of data) per month whilst on a month to month. Must say it was a good deal to not pay for the installation and be on month to month. Still i do not intend to cancel i need that line

a thought. its companies like telkom and eskom that force people like Mark Shuttleworth and Elon Musk to bugger off and setup elsewhere
