Temp replacement required for GFI webmonitor

Hi Guys
So @ new employer - they have a XP hyperV with ESET nod32 with GFI webmonitor as webfilter. EEEK.
Perfect timing - license expires in ~2 weeks.

I'll throw a decent solution in my next financial year as i have to make sense of their current budget , if any ,and aim for decent hardware/infrastructure , when allowed.

What solution can i implement in the meantime - proxy + basic webfilter - free/opensource - IE Zentyal / ClearOS / Squid - what can you recommend?

i know... that is why i said temp replacement! I can only get decent equipment July...

ESET has offices in Capetown

Granted I resell their products, so not sure of enduser treatment....

They are normally quite willing and able to assist with queries. (at least with ESET partners)

Customised plugins can be written for Endpoint products.

25-30% renewal discount is given to the enduser, compared to buying new.
