Whizz Mobile is a software development company that focuses on mobile applications & related products. Our development team consists of a number of software developers. We currently have an opening for a junior web developer for a one to three month contract with the possibility of a longer term agreement.

Responsibilities:
• The selected candidate will work closely with the team to create and code websites from scratch.
• Assist in the stabilising and testing of web applications.
Minimum Requirements:
• HTML5 and CSS3
• Strong Javascript skills
• Basic Linux commands (for deployment of projects).
• Skills in responsive single page web applications.
Recommended skills:
• Experience as a front end developer in prior projects.
• Experience with server side technologies.
• Good knowledge of the principles of relational databases.
• Knowledge of and some experience in relevant frontend tools such as jQuery.js / Angular.js, Bootstrap etc.
• Experience with Ember.js
• Experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Knowledge of Source Code Management Tools (git, hg, svn).
Personal Attributes:
• An aspiring developer with a hunger to perfect their craft.
• A dynamic go getter with amazing web development skills / the ability to acquire them.
• A strong attention to detail.
• A passionate, motivated, hardworking individual.
• An analytical thinker and problem solver.

Remuneration:
• R5k - R15k (depending on experience)
