There is no space for the little guy. It's all big corporates now.
Plenty of space for the little guy. Problem is, most little guys wanna swim with the big boys in the big and turbulent sea. Meanwhile, the small, calm and very profitable rivers are waiting for them to exploit. Too dumb to see

You'll have to research yourself. Point is, in every industry, no matter where, there is big business and there are plenty of niche markets to exploit by the little guy.

You don't have to be big to be successful.

Sidenote: An idea of a design don't make any money. The ability to find a market for it and sell it, does. So i don't get this "they steal my design" angle.
