Tenda AC6 - custom firmware | OpenWRT

Afternoon peeps,

Anyone succeed in loading custom firmware such as DD-WRT,OpenWRT or Gargoyle on a Tenda device?

1. Normal .trx and .bin images through the default interface naturally dont work.
2. The V2 device doesnt bring up a CFE interface using the off-> pressing reset -> power on mechanism.
3. I nmap'd port 10004,5500 and 9000 but unable to ID them or access them.

Anyone succeed or have ideas?

Did you check if it's supported by their firmware?

It is not directly supported from one of their base .trx images. However other guys have got it working on Tenda devices very similar.

I have since established that in rescue mode there is a TFTP server running on the Tenda at 192.168.1.6:69

I PUT firmware there but then nothing happens after that. Meaning it uploads successfully but the Tenda does nothing afterwards.
