Truly Terrible Service -
From the launch of their mobile packages I have logged multiple tickets and raised numerous complaints in regards to my SIMs simply sometimes not connecting until they are physically reset by a call centre operator.
I have been flat out lied to at certain times in regards to not receiving logged tickets or simply told that my ticket must have been cleared and not responded to due to a shift change.
The latest issue, and what prompted this complaint on a public website, is the fact that I logged a ticket with Afrihost more than a week ago in regards to my connectivity dropping permanently and major packet loss causing disconnects to the online services that I use on a daily basis.
Since logging the ticket I have been Emailed by no less than two different people, both completely unknowledgeable about their own systems and support methodologies and have literally had to prompt for an update after more than a week of no contact from their side.
They finally sent me a Coverage Document to fill in so that they could escalate to MTN directly after I told them that I would be cancelling my connectivity packages with them at the end of the month.
There is no need for anyone at Afrihost to respond to this post as I am not a frequent uesr of this forum, the purpose of this post is also not to initiate some action on the side of the ISP but to warn other potential users.
