I guess one needs to re-read what Alec Ham said in June 2019. The size of the boilers at Kusile & Medupi is not their only design problem. The vertical spindle mills that are used to pulverise the incomming coal are not suitable but Eskom saw them as a cost saving measure. Alec already predicted that the size of the boilers were too small etc nearly two years ago. But I guess the powers that be in Eskom & our Minister of Energy never bothered to read what he had to say then. After all he was only the Chief Engineer at Eskom for many years????
