Is he grid tied?
This should work nicely with a grid tied inverter on one of the MPPT inputs (assuming your inverter supports at least 350-450V DC)

As far as I know the hybrid / off-grid stuff isn't out yet.
Eg Fronius Symo or similar.

It's about USD3600 per battery (around 7 kilowatt/hour).
