Hello!
My cousins have been using Telkom Fibre for the past few years, and they've had complaints about lower average speeds than what they're paying for (currently they're on Telkom's uncapped 80Mbps/80Mbps home fibre plan, but when they do speed tests, the download and upload speed results aren't even close to those numbers), unstable network connections and throttling at night.
In addition to recommending that they use a new router (their current one is the D-Link DSL-G2562DG that came with their Telkom installation), I suggested that they swap to Afrihost to solve their internet issues, and have better ISP support in general.
However, they're still hesitant to switch (they're nervous to go through the whole process if they aren't certain that the benefits would be substantial, especially since their estate's internet policies are quite inconvenient). So, would it be possible for them to get a test account that they could use for a few days, just to compare Afrihost's speeds and reliability to Telkom (especially when it comes to gaming performance and peak-hour stability)?
