What do I need to know to get this job?
• Matric & related qualification (Degree desirable but not pre-requisite)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in integration and testing
• Experience in financial transaction processing environments
What will I do every day?
Testing and integration
- Schedule test slots with external clients
- Perform point-to-point test with external clients
- Assist in end-to-end tests
- Assist with and verify pilot transactions
System Configuration
- Configure test and live systems
Fault and Query resolution (2nd line)
- Assist support personnel in resolving system queries
- Information gathering, interpretation and communication of resolution
Manage live and test infrastructure
- Minimal Database maintenance (SQL Server)
- FTP server maintenance
- Server disk space management
Configuration management of test system
- System configuration (database)
- Software configuration
System documentation
- Maintain wiki related to system configuration
Training
- Train other members in own areas of expertise
- Propose courses and undergo training
