I've been having latency problems on my Webafrica over Openserve fibre from February this year.
I've made so many ticket with Webafrica that I have lost count. (wont go into the total lack of support just now - will make a dedicated thread for that BS)

I've received a Telkom test account loggin and password to test with but when I use that to connect it doesn't work.
The Modem shows all greens but no webpages loads and I cant do a speedtest.

I've also received a test account directly from Openserve to test with but that account had adsl right in the name and did not connect at all.

I have seen many people say to just use a free account from another ISP to test with but I have tried that and I have tried accounts from friends to test with and it does not connect.

Can someone sum the reasons for this up for me or say what I need to do to be able to test another ISP?

Thank you

What error do you get on the router diagnostics citing the reason why it won't connect?

Maybe a shot in the dark... but did you also change the DNS settings on your router? The DNS servers might still be setup for WebAfrica? Or it is set to Automatic?

I did change the DNS to auto.

I'll have to go check the diagnostic when I try the test again. I'll post here when I've done that thank you.
