Sup campers. Due to telkoms incompetence I'm hosting my website with my silver surfer. I would appreciate it if a few of you guys can visit my website and provide me with some feed back about load times. I think I may have to do some optimization and compression now :/ Links in my signature.

How slow is slow? My aim is to try and keep the loading time below 30seconds which in theory should work with +-600kbps upload speed.

Loads in about 35seconds on M-Web 4Mbps ADSL uncapped. I think the only reason why it takes slightly long to load is because of that big chunk of PNG (90KB) background image you're using to create the website interface. You might get faster loading speed if you break it up into smaller sections and save it in JPEG format with about 80% compression. I've tested it a lot in the past and a website really appears to load a lot faster if you break 90KB in 3x 30KB sections becasue "stuff happens right in front of you during the 30 seconds that it loads" as compared to nothing for 30 seconds and then BAM, site loaded!

I've compressed all of the images and removed 10 unused java scripts which were still loading, according to http://tools.pingdom.com/, so now the total load size per page has been reduced to +-150kb. Unfortunately I've lost some prettiness but load times will hopefully be below the 20 second mark now. Thanks for all the input :D
