Testing time for old cars

Owners of cars older than 10 years will, from the end of this year, be required to have them tested for roadworthiness every two years.

Screws me a bit. My car is 1992. Barely passed the last test and too expensive to fix up, so I guess I will scrap it then.

Thats a good thing. If you cant afford to keep it road worthy it should not be on the road. End of story.
Sadly its nothing R150 at the testing station won't bypass..

Won't do anything. Only another cash cow for the government. Secondly I don't understand the second hand parts issue, why is it an issue at all. There is no way in hell they can police/enforce this.
