Is there a way to tehther my iphone to my PS3 to get online?
I can see my iphone hotspot but it doesnt want to connect?

Why dont you just get a 3G Router which would have a much more stable connection.

I do that with my Galaxy Tab. Stick in my CellC sim (2GB), turn on the wifi and use it as a hotspot for my PS3, Laptop, basically everything that uses wifi.

Sent from my GT-P1000 using MyBroadband Android App

You can jailbreak and install MyWi which will do the same thing, maybe you'll have more success with that?

I don't see why it wouldn't want to connect though... Try changing the default password for the personal hotspot.

iPhone 4 has it built-in 4.3 and later. iPhone 3g/3Gs you gotta use miwi.

Yeah he said it can see his iPhone hotspot but doesn't want to connect so one would assume he is on >=4.3

Just thought he may have more success with MyWi, worth a try if he is already jailbroken, but i see no reason why it shouldn't connect to the personal hotspot.

The iPhone's reception is terrible for using it as a wifi hotspot. Believe me, been there done that.

The Galaxy Tab is stable and the connection is fast. Just be sure to keep it plugged in otherwise the battery will die on you.

Buying a galaxy tab just to tether isn't gona work.... I have around 2 gig a month on my iPhone and don't always use it up... Hence the reason I want to connect my ps3 so I can use the bantwith and still be reachable on my phone
