I've downloaded the appropriate modem scripts from Ross Barkman and haven't managed to come right..

Have you changed the APN to internet?

Yes I have. I tried changing it on the device, in the Network Pref settings and both.

Doesn't seem to work.

I did get it working under leopard (or Tiger) but havent tried it since then.
