Tethering on Bold 9700 and MTN

Hey guys please can someone try and help me/
Using Windows 7 64 bit and need to use it as a modem sometimes.
I have tried but cannot seem to get this to work.

You must be running the Blackberry device manager in the background. You also need to add the MTN initialisation string to the extra modem settings (just search for it and you'll find it, it starts atgcont...).

How does one activate the BIS? I noticed it number wsa ported etc but the bb thing its not on yet :-/

Call MTN or Vodacom customer service to activate.
