Tethering on iPhone 5 (mobile hotspot) not in settings menu

Not that I've needed to use it yet but don't know why I can swith my personal hotspot on on my iPad (3rd gen) with a Cell C prepaid sim but this option is nowhere to be found on my iPhone (5) - contract line...? Wife has an iPhone 5 with Voda and the option is there?

Anyone else experiencing same issue with personal hotspot option not being there on iPhone 5 for Cell C?

Have latest software and carrier versions on both and apn set to internet on both....

APN should be iphone.cellc.co.za if i remember correctly.

Go to settings and reset the network settings, that fixed it on my iPhone5 not showing the Hotspot

Tx - will try. Have been told by Cell C Technical support to use 'internet' as the apn as I battled with internet throughput...(which by the way made no difference on either apn setting)

Anyone else having the same problem with hotspot setting not being in the settings menu?

Did not work - did a connection settings reset and that brought the hotspot back
