Tetris could be a cognitive vaccine for PTSD

Except that PTSD is characterised by intrusive flashbacks with an onset of +30 days. If the flashbacks occur within 30 days of the traumatic event, the disorder is Acute Stress Disorder. So, if the flashbacks are occuring within 4 hours of trauma-inducing footage, the experiments are testing the ability of Tetris to suppress ASD not PTSD.

There are many definitions for PTSD and not just one you mentioned above. I'm pretty sure these people conducting the experiments know a lot more about it than you ;p
