I want to stay in England and play for one of United's rivals, says Tevez
By Sportsmail Reporter

Manchester United's frustrated Argentine forward Carlos Tevez has admitted that he expects to leave Old Trafford in the summer.
The on-loan 25-year-old feels he has not been treated as 'one of the family' at Old Trafford and claims the club have made no attempt to sign him long term - but insisted he wants to stay in England.
'I am very sad about this but I guess what I'm saying is goodbye,' Tevez said.

'I don't think I will be a Manchester United player next season. I have done everything I possibly can but they have never made me an offer or given me a contract so I have to leave. I think I will be at another club next season.
Walking away: Tevez looks set to leave Old Trafford
'I have not been treated as a member of the family. I do not feel wanted. I feel bad over my situation, I do, but it's very, very difficult to stay any longer.

'The fans treat me like family but United have not signed me so they do not respect me as a footballer.'
Fans' favourite: United supporters air their views
Tevez feels his form has been good this season but has been frustrated at not being considered a first-team regular by Sir Alex Ferguson.

'Things have changed dramatically this season,' he said. 'I was dropped - yet I didn't perform badly. Sir Alex never gave me an explanation but I never asked him for one because it is not in my character.

'I accepted it but maybe Sir Alex didn't feel the same way about me. Maybe he didn't have confidence in me any more.'

Tevez stressed he was settled in England and would have no qualms about joining one of United's big rivals.

He said: 'It's not true my family are unhappy in England. It's not true I want to leave England for Spain. My four-year-old daughter Florencia is learning English and my wife is very happy living in England.

'We want to stay. I want to play in England because it is the best League in the world and it suits my style.

'Any club I join, whether it be Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool or Everton, will be a rival of Manchester United. I would like to thank the United fans for their support. They will always have a special place in my heart.

'If I was a United fan I wouldn't want to see their player in any other shirt but I think they will accept I've done everything I can,' Tevez told the News of the World.

where there is smoke theres fire :D,Liverpool are looking for a striker and Benitez refused to talk about being Linked with Teves ;) he would confirm nor deny the reports ,I think he wants to join Monsterano at Anfield :D

wow. Those are some harsh words from Tevez.
I think he would be a good signing for Liverpool but as long as it's under 25 Millions, don't think he's worth any more than that.

i really couldnt care what we paid for players anymore as it doesnt matter if we pay 30m of 50m or 1m as long as we get the player Benitez wanted ,so many times have we missed out on big players because we didnt want to pay that extra couple of million ,look at Manure/Chelsea/Barca/Madrid they dont care how much they pay for players as long as they get them within the market rate ,freakin hell barca paid more for a right back than what we paid for Torres :D does anyone really think Berba is worth 31m, NO but Fergie got the player he wanted

Would absolutely love Teves at Liverpool and the good thing is Old Ruldolf cant do anything about it if we wanted to sign him ,unlike the Heinze deal :D

If they don't think Tevez is worth 30 mill, then Berbatov is not worth 30 mill either.
Tevez is obviously very hurt by the fact that he hasn't been offered a contract yet. That's why he wants to join the rivals. It's all emotional at this point.

I think this is a mind games for Pool ;) Watch Benetiz moan about the whole saga :D

Smoking nothing. He's worth more than 10 million, but I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole if we had to fork out more than 10. Rather look elsewhere.

i dont get the thinking behind not wanting to pay for a quality player ,that is why it has taken liverpool 19 years to challenge in the league ,i would pay 30m for teves if we had 30m to spend on him ,if Manure can spend 30m on a overated Rooney why not spend 30m on the real deal :D

Bah! poolmania is knocking off a million for every cm he is lacking in height.

Well i think 10m is an insult lol. You cant even buy Emile Heskey for 10 mil these days

Like I said, he's worth a lot more than 10 million. What I'm saying is that for Liverpool he would be a waste of money for 30 million. He's a hard working player with good skill. We have enough of that in my opinion. I feel that more money must be spent on one quality winger and a backup to Torres. Tevez has made it clear that he wants to play every game, he won't get that at Anfield unless Rafa changes his tactics which I doubt so therefore it would be a waste if we spend loads of money on him. It's my opinion, I could be wrong.

Torres, Gerard, Tevez, Kuyt

Sounds good!!!

Pay the extra millions....
