Text Clients Your Number

Hi all,

I am just wondering if anyone knows of any local companies that do this?

Once a client fills in their name and number it will text them your business's phone number and then you will have their contact details to contact them as well.

You can see it in use here - under the image on the right hand side you click "Show Phone Number", then click "Text this number to my phone for free".

Does anyone know anything about this? Can't find anything from Google.

Easy peasy. Will cost you a few Rands though.

Sign up with Clickatell and open an account. Buy some credits (26c per credit or SMS).

Make use of their API and do a simple PHP script that will extract the doctors' phone number from your database and send the SMS to the clients' phone number which they enters when requesting it to be sent to them.

That does make sense, unfortunately I have no idea where to start with this. That's why I was hoping there might be a local company that will do this.

Else I must try this way when I eventually get a chance to myself.

Well, in terms of a simple PHP script I am sure I can help you.

Do you already have all the information you want to send out in a database? e.g: phone numbers? I suppose you already may have a website you want to do this from?

You will just need to sign up with clickatell and buy credits.
