TEXT lookup in Excel 2003...

Hi there,

Is there a way to look up text in Excel using the "lookup" formula? I have tried to do it using the lookup formula, but I cannot make it look up the text I specify for it.

With numbers the lookup works fine in the "lookup_value", and can return text as "result_vector", but when I specify it to lookup text in the "lookup_value", it returns just what it likes.

Is there another way / formula to solve this? (I tried the "match" formula, but no luck!)

Oh well, I have managed to help myself on this one...

Just for refference purposes, I have managed to accomplish this matter by doing the following:

--> Sort the specific lookup fields accending.
--> Formula worked

Very simple...
