I seem to be struggling with a simple thing here, so feel free to laugh if it is indeed :whistling:

When I take a photo on my LG cellphone, it saves it as a high quality JPEG, with all the metadata including the geolocation. It also has an option to add a signature/text stamp onto the picture without degrading the quality or removing any information from it.

I take a photo with a Panasonic camera, import it onto my phone, and add the signature afterwards, it compresses the file to about 1.2Mb, losing a lot of quality, but it retains all information.

The camera can also add a signature, but then it removed the geolocation data. I have also installed an app called Add Watermark (paid version), it works perfectly, but also removes the geolocation data when adding the signature.

Is there an app that can do all of this? Am I missing something? Note: I'm not interested in a lot of post-editing, so I'm not going to load the photos onto a PC to edit them.

Thanks!

Tried it, it removes all information form the JPEG
Can you do it on desktop? Download the images from photos.google.com, those are compressed images.

Otherwise try mobile lightroom, I know it has it but unsure it's extra feature as I have a CC license.

I use Google Photos to store my photos, and I upload them in original size (JPEG), not the compressed option where it's free unlimited storage.

The idea is to not use a desktop/laptop. Anyway, thanks for responding! It seems like this is yet another very basic area that
