An exciting opportunity has become available for an IT Auditor. Our IT Auditors gain a broad perspective across the Group through varied short-term assignments. These can range from unique technical projects to supporting audit engagements in a dynamic retail environment.
The successful incumbent would be responsible toto conduct information systems audits across TFG. The candidate will need a good mixture of deep technical know-how, as well as background in higher level information security concepts, risk assessment methodologies, IT governance, etc.
The key responsibilities would include:
- Plan, manage and execute risk-based IT audits in partnership with business.
- Participate in development of audit plan and strategy.
- Build and manage relationships with IT stakeholders.
- Partner with other risk and assurance providers to identify and manage IT risks.
Qualifications and Experience:
- This position requires a B Comm or B Sc degree majoring in computer science or information systems.
- Hands-on IT auditing experience, or experience in an enterprise IT environment.
- A CISA or CISSP certification
- 3-6 years IT audit experience including General Control Reviews, Application Control Reviews, Data Analysis (ACL /IDEA), exposure to COBIT and ITIL
Or
- 3-6 year’s industry experience in information security, systems administration, IT governance, system or business analysis, etc.
You will also need:
- Strong understanding of general IT controls.
- Broad knowledge of IT controls including networking, operating systems, databases, middleware and layered products, and business application.
- Proficient in verbal and written communication
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal clients across all levels of seniority.
- Excellent problem solving, investigation and information gathering skills
- Effective time management, organising and planning ability
- Attention to detail and goal focused
