Hi Everyone

Is there anyway to find out if there is a problem with the Thabazimbi exhange?

I ordered the 2mb uncapped package from telkom. Last week the technician came out and took the line from the telephone pole and made the connection inside of the house but he didn't complete the whole installation. Now he was schedeuled to come out Yesterday to complete the installation but he didn't show up, so at 16:00 I call the call centre and tell them to find out what is going on. The telkom technician then tells the call centre no he cannot install the line because there is a problem with the exchange and has been so for long.

My question now is if there has been a problem for long with the exchange why would he bother installing the required line into the house? Also he didn't call me as stating this is the reason why he will not be installing the line any further.

Any advice to finding out what is really going on ?
