No, he has always been a polar opposite of his brother.

He fudged the Arm deal enquiry.
He got rid of specialised SAPS.
He let Zimbabwe implode.
He failed the AIDS policy.
Introduced African Excellence.

You can't fail more than this oke.

It's almost like there's an election coming up & the ANC's so worried/desperate they pulling in their "big guns" to come spin a good story for their votas, and what better way than an "elder" putting a counter-revolutionary white man in his place..
 
Yoh the sooner these ANC clowns lose the majority standing in the elections, the better!

Really need to get these communists out of office and replace them with those that want to serve and build SA instead of continually dividing the country through the Marxist playbook!

Yeah not talking compared to his brother, compared to the general caliber of people in the ANC today.

AIDS - if you're dumb enough to believe in beetroot then you deserve whatever any pain coming your way.

Zimbabwe - the people of Zimbabwe let Zimbabwe implode by allowing a despot to rule. As much as we'd like to blame another country, the buck stops with them. Which international president is to blame for our woes?

The others - fair enough. And you can add ignoring Eskom to that list.

But also our economy was better than it ever was under him. A lot of people were able to improve their personal circumstances. He certainly did far better overall than anyone else they put forward, including Mandela...

Ah, Eskom, I knew I was forgetting something. He refused to build more power stations when eskom warned him.

His quiet diplomacy propped up the Zim dictator. It's a bit hard for the people when the elections are rigged.

The economy was still riding the Rainbow Nation New South Africa Mandela wave and had nothing to do with Mbeki. The only thing he did right was The Scorpions.
 
So this statement is to distract from the Eskom wasteful and irregular expenditure reporting exemption?

Seems about right.
 
quite surprising Mbeki the madman who denied AIDS suddenly blurting out Eskom.

he didnt exactly shine when he said AIDS can be cured with Beetroot.

Seriously? What a tragic, despicable thing to say. It was because HIV was denied and critical drugs were not brought into the country, and our top scientists were ignored, all the while, trying to push toxic Virodine as a solution.
