Im downloading a 700 mb file... and my download speed is 500 KB/s. even telkom cannot offer that for R150 a month. I feel for the guys who are paying close to grand or more for their 4 to 10 meg line.... (only consolation see is that the speed is stable and that you can pull more data then i can) but for now im really feeling the whoosh factor < oh yeah my area is nt conpletely covered and am able to pull data at 500 KB/s

telkom can learn a lesson or two about what true broadband should like from cell c... I had 384 line before....and it does not even come close to the whoosh experience... The only thing i see from telkom is their aggressive advertisement of the the telkom simple ... which does not offer much.. i wish they could and offer something more competitive
What a pleasure to read some positive feedback about Cell C. It seems like some areas of JNB are really having a hard time.
My Cell C acct has been working exceptionally well - in 3 months only two days where there was a problem of a few hours each.
Apart from that, I get 6 - 9 Mbps dwn all the time

*BUMP* indeed impressive price - I would be stuck on dial up if I had to pay the telephone rental only (R138..), excluding DSL rental and ISP charges... CELL C better start to offer uncapped solution even if they throttle the speed to 512 KB/s for R300-400 a month -- CELL C are the winners let's all hope the special / promotion will last another 2 years or more

just like to say Thank You CellC for resolving all the recent connection issues! My connection is finally stable and speeds are what it used to be when i first bought my wooosh! We all usually rant and rave when things dont work but often fail to complement when it works well! so heres another vote of thanks! big up! keep up the good work!
