Not sure if this is the right section, but I would like to thank Mariaan(I think) from Esquire, PE.

I phoned the branch in the morning asking for the cheapest price on 5 optical / PS2 mouses. I was told I could get it @ R29.00 excl / mouse

After lunch I phoned to place the order and was told that the cheapest option was an Esquire mouse @ R49.00 excl / mouse

I then spoke to Mariaan and after explaining the situation I was offered the product for R35.00 incl./ mouse

It is part of a project for our local Round Table here in Kirkwood to provide pc's to our school hostel.

The price changed between morning and lunch? Sounds like someone there made a mistake the first time round. I'm glad you got some service, but they shouldn't have messed up in the first place.

That is the problem. According to them there was never a price of R29.00, so either they gave me a wrong price or I heard wrong, but it does not sound the same.

I had no name though and there was still the possibility that I made the error, but they still accommodated me and for that I'm impressed. Have it gone the other way I possibly would have been flaming in this thread instead of thanking them and praising them.
