I would like to thank the two Telkom technicians and the helpdesk consultant that fixed my ADSL connection. From Friday afternoon till about Tuesday midday I had high latency and my line speed was abysmal as you can see in this post http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthr...ess-of-ISP?p=15175938&viewfull=1#post15175938. On Sunday morning I logged a fault using 10210 and got a SMS notification with my fault ID.
On Monday evening I phoned the 10210 number to see if there was any progress with my fault and the helpdesk consultant told me that my ADSL was synced to some MWEB account even though my adsl and ISP are with Telkom. He fixed the account issue but not line speed issue. On Tuesday afternoon one of the Telkom technician came to my place to fix the line issue but I was not home so he worked on trying to fix it on the exchange and then today(Wednesday) he came over with the other technician to fix my line and they found that my connection had a short circuit. I just want to say thanks because I was not expecting any help for at least a week or two.
