The 12-inch MacBook is no more

Apple has updated its MacBook Air notebooks as part of its Back to School promotion aimed at university students.

The new MacBook Air devices feature True Tone Retina displays and a lower price tag of $1,099.

Doubt if it will be missed locally. Don't think it was a big seller here.

Never liked the 12”.

A bigger deal IMO is Apple dropping the entry level 13” Pro - the one without the Touch Bar.

Good value on that one and enough to make you really think before buying a new Air.
