Finance minister Tito Mboweni has delivered his 2020 budget speech, outlining the state of South Africa’s finances, and where the government will spend its money in the year ahead.
 
Anybody know of a calculator I can use? I want to see what my new PAYE will be
 
The monies I'll be saving with reduction in income tax and the medical aid credits are immediately destroyed by the fuel levy increase.

I think it's a fair budget overall, given our current situation. Am I in the minority?
 
If you are a high earner you're saving about R50 per month.

Fuel increase is already R30+ per month.
