Edit : I had a creepy dream where they performed neurosurgery with general anesthetic and put electronics in my head, then put my skull back together again with a staple gun
Then I got a DIY pacemaker :erm:

if would be interesting to see if you are required to perform an emergency thoracotomy - although rare. a trauma surgeon's nightmare.

Surgery simulator is a joke game. It requires you to perform surgeries using only one hand where you control the five fingers of that hand with five keys on your keyboard. It's nothing more than a fun little timewaster to play in your spare time, so really don't expect any accuracy from it.

The point being that there is no accuracy to the procedures in the game, directed at grantza's post about whether you could perform a thoracotomy. Nobody was implying you could learn to do something as complex as surgery from playing a simulator.
