I have all four. I got two bundled with my telescope, and bought the other two. I find myself using all of them. I suppose this will depend on the person though.

Same here (plus a 25mm), but it sounds like @surface already has a 25mm and 10mm, so it might not be worth it to get the full bundle.

yip - no bundle needed. Looking to buy this now. Had a decent viewing of Jupiter 2 nights/evenings ago with 10mm and want to see what difference 6mm would make. 910 rands so not breaking the bank. Also realized I need a stable platform to view. Dob is wobbly on the grass.

Wait till you start looking at astrophotography mounts and scopes, there's endless opportunity to bankrupt yourself 
I think that Orion 6mm is a good idea, it'll be nice for Jupiter and Saturn.

They're very good. And the advantage of having a zoom eyepiece is that you needn't worry about switching eyepieces in situ in order to get different magnification. Just turn the dial and there you go.
Worth the money? It depends on you I suppose. If I didn't have my Expanse eyepieces I might think seriously about that one. If you think that's expensive, check what Televue Naglers cost.
That 6mm is a good buy IMO. It's the one I normally use for planets, though my little Newtonian only has a 450mm focal length! So I'm sure your view will be better than mine.
I bought something from Technopro and paid extra to have it delivered quicker. After 3 days I phoned. Lady said she would make enquiries and come back. After a hour I called again. Had to give her the details again. Told it was still in dispatch and it could take 3-5 days to go through the warehouse according to there terms and conditions.This is a electronic card about the size of match box and about the same weight as a match box. No wonder our country is going for a ball of s&$t. They have your money so Service to a customer means nothing. Won't be recommending Technopro to anybody.

Sorry to hear this. I bought the 6mm eyepiece from technopro last week and it was processed within 4 working days. I sent my own courier as theirs was 180 rands.
When I placed my order they claimed it was in stock. To move something as small as a matchbox in your warehouse and take 3-5 working days is shocking. Well known online shopping warehouses tell you how long your order will take when you place the order. No need to hide it away in the conditions of sale.

The online sites that actually sell you these things get them from the same importer. They don't keep stock on prem mostly. So they might not have up-to-date info on what the importer has available.
Of course they don't make this info available up front.

The planets are usually bright enough that light pollution matters very little.
Deep sky objects are the ones that you want to use the load shedding opportunities for! If you're familiar with them ;-)

I'm a keen amateur as well, but dormant since emigrating from Joburg to the Little Karoo. Focused on more terrestrial issues, sadly.
Had a string of burglaries on the farm so I've got to get a new set of eyepieces for the 10" Meade LX200 Schmidt-Cassegrain. I'm also trying to simplify my life so ruthlessly disposing of stuff I haven't touched in a while. But not yet ready to part with the Meade. Will review again when back from abroad in May next year. In the meantime the 'scope gathers dust, which induces pangs of guilt, and this thread doesn't help...

Just now, our preschooler heard our conversation about jupiter & saturn and came shouting that he saw the moon. So, we had to take out the telescope and he got to see it himself. 
He said there are eyes on the moon.

My toddler is just just learning to talk, and "moon" is one of the words in his very limited vocabulary. He loves pointing at it and shouting "moon!" whenever it's visible. Yeah - It is actually difficult for a child to focus using tiny eyepiece. I have difficulty as well as I wear glasses.
realistically, I am not sure what my son saw but my wife asked him 'what do you see' (instead of asking him leading question - do you see moon) and he kept on saying he sees blue and then I had move dob a bit and then once he said, he sees eyes so I just guessed he must have seen something.

Trying to view Jupiter right now at 2100 hours but right now it is exactly overhead (I think - lol) and very uncomfortable to position with a DOB - how do you guys manage this if object is exactly overhead. Had excellent views of moon with 6mm eyepiece though - tried this eyepiece for the first time - absolutely stunning. Makes me want to get T-ring & adapter to photograph it.
